a little about my background —

i grew up with entrepreneur parents and saw small business from the inside-out at a young age. while in college majoring in photography, i got a job working in the college’s marketing and public relations office. i fell in love with marketing along side photography. which lead to my next job outside of pursuing a photo career, a marketing internship at an event venue and concert promotion company in downtown des moines.

i first got into “content creation” in 2013 working with magazines, fashion bloggers, clothing lines, and music industry professionals before switching gears and joining the wedding industry. but after the chaos of being a full time wedding vendor in 2020 during the pandemic, i began to work with brands again regularly creating promotional content for small business while still continuing wedding and portrait work. i now work with multiple brands every month to improve online presence and deliver consistent content to their online communities.
